Well, hello there boys and girls, this is Juju. First off, I want to thank all of you for convincing Rayven to write my autobiography. Well, I guess it isn’t quite an autobiography, since I have to share the spotlight with Janea, Angelle and Kabo, but I’ll take it. As you all know, I’m the new owner of Cut N’ Curl, where you can get yo’ hair fried, dyed, and laid to the side. Of course, just like any other salon with a multitude of personalities, we have our occasional drama—as you shall read, but there isn’t a jealous b@*&h out there who can hold a candle to me when it comes to doing hair. This was a good book. I would have given it more stars, but it did have several errors, and sometimes, you did not know who was talking because every chapter started with a different person speaking. Instead of the chapters being labled with the person, it was labled with something that was said in the chapter. You would have to read it and put the character with the situation. So, sometimes I ended up lost, and would loose interest. Also, sometimes the story was predictable. Other than that, it was pretty good. It had it's funny moments and it's triffling moments. Juju was funny as hell. Him and Kabo had me cracking up. At first, I wasn't really sure about reading book two, but now I feel like I have to have it. This book got really good at the end. I have to find out what's going to happen to Juju. I hope Kabo gets what's coming to him, because he deserves it. I also want to know what went down with Angelle. So, please hurry up with book 2. OK, this book was just a mess. I guess, in the beginning that the meeting at the shop was supposed to be funny but I didn't see any humor in it at all. The book lost me during that time and couldn't be found. I stopped reading after that. This author need to go back to the drawing and start over. And from view the reviews for his/her other work it is a must!!! The book was free so I can't really complain about it...or can I?
I loved this book most urban books are all about the streets but this one right here was straight comedy. You're introduced to Juju in the Rumble series by Rayven Skyy and if you thought he was a mess then oh baby you're in for a surprise. I so can't wait for part 2 to come out I need to know what's up with Juju. I like Angelles' character, I see so many people like her walking around. This book is full of emotion, you be angry and holding back tears at the same time. There are some books that you can relate to so much that you forget that you're reading a piece of fiction and this book is exactly one of them.
CUT N' CURL was SOOOOOOO GOOD. I was ABLE to CATCH UP with SOME of the CHARACTERS from A RUMBLE IN THE VA. OMG, that JUJU was SO HILARIOUS. I LAUGHED, LAUGHED, and LAUGHED SOME MORE. I was ENTERTAINED to FULLEST, NEVER a DULL MOMENT. The STORY-LINE and ISSUES were VERY REALISTIC. JAW DROPPING SECRETS were REVEALED. I had a FEELING about that KABO. An ENDING that has me WISHING I COULD READ CURL N' CUT TOO RIGHT NOW. I NOT ONLY WANT, but NEED to KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT with these UNFORGETTABLE CHARACTERS . I'm ALREADY a FAN of RAYVEN SKYY, WHO MOST DEFINITELY DID HER THING. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND CUT N' CURL.......................
I truly enjoyed this book, The characters were very entertaining! I was a little thrown off when the characters all had different chapters throughout the book. However, once I began to identify the style of communication of the characters I could easily recognize who it was! I actually enjoyed the layout of the book! The author kept a fast enough pace to keep me focused on the story! I can't wait to read the next book!
For all you Jealous itches!!!! If you didn't know, then you will.....Juju don't play; He says what he means and means what he says!

Cut & Curl is a read that you need to have followed the character from the Rumble series. Rayven Skyy just when I think you cant get any better, you go and prove me wrong. I see so much grace in this Authors writing style. Her writing really make you become apart of the characters and their lives. I laughed so hard and loud at one scene with Juju that I had tears flowing out of my eyes and my family thinking that I had went crazy. When I explained to them why I was laughing they joined in and want to read the book. I know that we are having a part 2 to this because I have to see how things play out with my friend Juju. This story was was perfectly written, narrated and have so much passion that was just brought to us with plenty of attitude in a very flattering way. Rayven breaks it down for you so that you do not have to wonder what anything means. Another 5***** page turner.
I will admit to being a 99cent ebook shopper....but I couldn't pass this one up and I'm sooooooo glad I didn't .... I had never heard of the RUMBLE series Cut N Curl was such a good read I had to go back and read the series..and HUNNNNAY !!!! After reading the series I had to come back and do a review....if you don't like this book you are truely just a Jealous Bytch in my Juju voice....LOVED IT.... I read this book the other day and I'm already gonna read it again it was just that good.... If you haven't read the Rumble series I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO!!!! book one was free the other day so catch it while you can..... WARNING if you have kids to watch a man to feed a job to go to WAIT because YOU will NOT be able to stop reading this series.....Milk and Sabrina stay in some drama..... BEST SERIES EVER!!!!!
