My friends in India, an Indian and a Japanese wrote this so I'm slightly biased. I wanted it for my own cooking.This will be great for people from the west who are living in the East hand miss their own cooking from back home. It was written with the expat in mind so is not based on Indian cooking. Please look elsewhere if you want Indian fare.
The recipes are standard fare for us from the west, but it's a great collection of all the foods we grew up with.

A very handy book to guide the ex-pat through using fresh Indian ingredients to finished dishes with a varied, international feel,
without resorting to complicated cooking methods or being heavy on the spice. Very useful and some great recipes.
This book is a great book, not only for expats, but for all people who have access to indian ingredients and spices!
